True love. Soulmate. Forever partner. Till death do you part. It probably was feasible in the 1800s because there were only 1 billion people on this planet. Highly feasible in the 1000sbecause there was even fewer people on the planet. But now, gaining more closer to 8 billion today, love of that kind is much harder than just walking outside and meeting someone.
Is it destiny? Is it fate? Or is it even sheer luck? The probability of finding "the one" is even less than 1% according to the internet. Love is comparable to winning the lotto even.
How does one know it? How does love start to begin with? Sadly, it does start with physical attraction as people are more likely to go up to someone that they do indeed find attractive in their standards. Then the two get to know each other to find out if they are indeed compatible. Then the courtship starts and it goes on from there. It reported that on average it takes a person 18 tries before they get it right. But don't despair if you've passed that notion, keep looking.
Truly, what is the philosophy of love? Some say it is a change for the better. Some feel it inconsequential. Around 20% of the world never marry, 17% have had more than one marriage, that's a whopping 37% who had the bad luck of not being finding true love for their entire life. 50% of marriages end in divorce and before that marriage, 5 relationships have gone south.
True love is indeed hard to find, the quest leaving a trail of multiple broken hearts and possibly children of that love suffering as well. So what exactly is it and how do the some that get it even find it?
